Les Mayers is an established, contemporary artist and designer from Southern California. His art presents an intersection between traditional fine art, digital art, design, and emerging media and is characterized by its vibrant use of color, broad range of subject matter, and interest in exploring new ways for contemporary art to be created, displayed, and experienced. His interest and artistic explorations include human emotions, nature, travel, landscapes, seascapes, portraits, flowers, trees, architecture, urban environments, and abstract subjects. His Styles range from realism through impressionistic approaches to abstract expression.
Mayers art pioneers the latest advances in technology and innovative new techniques he developed to create, produce, and display his art.
One of the more distinctive aspects of Mayers' art is the evolution of substrate materials from conventional canvas and paper to Plexiglass, milled metal, tempered glass, ceramics, fabrics such as natural silk, leather, building materials, and large digital monitors and boards.
His art is also available as murals and wall paper, home goods, and on luxury products. It has been exhibited and sold in established art galleries and well known luxury stores located in Beverly Hills, Laguna Beach, Santa Monica and Venice, CA, charitable frundraising events and trunk show events, online, and his art gallery in West Los Angeles. He has also displayed his art at public art events on full-sized outdoor digital billboards located in cities across the United States, including: Albany, New York; Richmond, Virginia; Reading, Pennsyllvania; Detroit, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; Salem, 0regon; Corona, California and on large large digital screens in New York City's iconic Times Square.
